Shift Description: This shift is up to 29 hours per week (Monday through Friday)

Yachad is dedicated to enriching the lives of Jewish individuals with disabilities and their families, by enhancing their communal participation and their connection to Judaism through social and educational programs and support services.

Position Summary:

Provide direct care and vocational training to individuals with developmental disabilities in a day program setting.

Typical Tasks:

-Working one-on-one with individuals as well as leading group sessions
-Job Coaching at training and various work sites
-Monitoring individuals goals and progress
-Providing social skills training in individual and group settings
-Ensuring paperwork is completed accurately and in a timely manner
-Creating and implementing group activities
-Transportation of individuals to/from program in the morning and afternoon. As well as to job sites and community outings throughout the day.
-Working one-on-one with individuals as well as leading group sessions

Qualification Requirements:

-Ability and desire to work with adults with disabilities
-Ability to provide positive motivation to others
-A caring, dedicated, responsible and patient personality is a must
-High School diploma or its equivalent
-Driver License preferred

The salary for this position is between $17-$19/hour
